At the end of winter, heavy storms are common and they are popularly known as the Santa Rosa Storm. This marks the beginning of Spring. Spring and Autumn have changeable weather with heat waves that can push temperatures up to 38°C (100°F) and cold, polar air masses pushing temperatures down to -4°C (25°F).
