Highlights of San Jose
San-Jose-Costa Rica
San Jose sits in a valley. It is the capital of Costa Rica. To the north you have volcanoes. To the south you have the Talamanca Mountains.
Fortunately this city is rich in Spanish heritage. Such as the National Theatre of Costa Rica. Moreover Spanish is the native language here.
If hanging out is your style, go to downtown Plaza de la Cultura. Not only will you experience the buzz of the city, there are plenty of dining options to choose from.
Whilst Colombia and Mexico may be famous for gold, Costa Rica has its far share too. Check out the Pre-Columbian Gold Museum off the Plaza de la Cultura. In addition you may wish to visit the Jade Museum. Or even the National Museum in calle 17.
Albeit other attractions include a Britt coffee tour. A chocolate tasting tour. Even the general cemetery is a tourist attraction with its ornate statues.
Additionally you may prefer a beach location. Then take a day trip to Manuel Antonio.
