Cambodia Welcomes Back Tourists
Cambodia Welcomes Back Tourists
For the first time since pandemic hit, Cambodia now welcomes back tourists. Even though the country has put strict requirements in place, such as hotel quarantine, it is now possible to revisit Cambodia as a tourist.
Getting a Tourist Visa Online
Cambodia has currently suspended the visa on arrival. Therefore you need a visa in advance. And we can assist with this.
Simple click on the image on the left hand side for Visa details. Visitors have to arrive in Cambodia by plane because the land borders with Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam are still closed for the time being.
Quarantine Options
Fully vaccinated travellers need to quarantine for seven days. Those who have received only one dose of a vaccine or people not vaccinated need to undergo a 14 day quarantine period. A $2,000 cash deposit is mandatory.
You must pre-book your stay in a quarantine-approved hotel, such as Raffles Hotel Le Royal, Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, Courtyard by Marriott, or Sokha Hotel.
Requirements for Flying to Cambodia
Travellers can only fly to Cambodia if they have a 20-day Covid-19 health insurance. We always recommend World Nomad for the best comprehensive travel insurance policies.
In addition to insurance a negative Covid-19 PCR test is also required. It needs to be taken within 72 hours of arriving in Cambodia. The result must include the words “medical certificate” and must be signed and stamped by a clinic or doctor.
You need never travel alone again with Holiday Houseboys.
To fully appreciate Cambodia you need to book a Holiday Houseboy, your private gay friendly tour guide. He will be able to show you around like a local. Whether you want to see the tourist sites, places off the beaten track or discover new experiences, the Holiday Houseboy is there to help you. He looks after your safety and welfare at all times.
We offer both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
Phnom Penh is the capital of Cambodia. Explore the foods and goods for sale at the Central Market, Aeon Mall and Russian Market and much more.
Whilst the capital of Cambodia is Phnom Penh, it is Siem Reap that is the more popular. This is due to the famous Angkor Wat temple, some 6.5 kms from Siem Reap.
In both destinations you can book 31 year old Sareth. Sareth is a qualified Angkor Tour Guide. Born and raised in Cambodia, he is well versed in the history of the Angkor temples and the surrounding district.
Sareth
For Siem Reap you can book 31 year old Naga as your tour guide. His friendly smile, passion for learning and interest in others make him an excellent choice.
